Welcome to Chef Nak’s Culinary World—Where Tradition Meets Innovation
At Chef Nak, we believe that food is more than just nourishment—it is history, culture, and identity. Cambodian cuisine is an undiscovered treasure, a legacy passed down through generations, and our mission is to share it with the world.
Meet Chef Nak: The Guardian of Cambodian Culinary Heritage
For Chef Ros Rotanak (Chef Nak), food is a lifelong passion. From standing on tiptoes in her family’s kitchen at the age of four to becoming Cambodia’s leading culinary ambassador, her journey is rooted in a deep respect for tradition.
"I'm inspired to rediscover Cambodia’s hidden delicacies through the memories of our elders. Their knowledge holds a vast reservoir of culinary heritage waiting to be shared with the world." – Chef Nak
The Khmer Rouge era led to the loss of millions of lives and irreplaceable cultural traditions, including Cambodian cuisine. As time passes, the elders who hold these food traditions in their memories are growing fewer.
That is why Chef Nak has dedicated her life’s work to preserving, documenting, and reviving Cambodia’s culinary legacy—ensuring it thrives for future generations.
